pokemon blue crystal 3d
A downloadable game
just started making pokemon blue in 3d using crystal style graphics, pallet town is is almost finished with interiors needing a lot of work done, no battles or npc's. just walking using wasd and mouse for camera. made in unity and modeled in magicavoxel.
no invisible boundaries so be careful to not walk off map.
packages used in unity are cinemachine and probuilder.
controls --
wasd - movement i think arrow keys work too from unity's default horizontal and vertical inputs
e - interact // implemented but not used yet
tab - menu

i am a relatively new programmer and terrible modeler so any feedback would help further my learning experience.
Update to v0.0.1
- reworked sound controller
- added menu functionality - only options and exit work right now
- added the option to change both music and sfx volumes since mono and stereo are pretty much obsolete now
- added first half of route 1 north of pallet town
- added location transition box to top left of screen
- added ledge hop, VERY basic and ugly but its a start
- started adding random encounters, but i broke it on accident when adding an event controller script
- started to add pokemon stats and pokedex entries, but cant access or see in game
known bugs I've found so far:
- location transition box not moving correctly when rapidly switching between locations example: pallet town and route 1
- can close main menu while options menu is open making it impossible to close options menu, luckily you can press tab again to reopen menu to free cursor.
